HELP ARAN STOP THE SLAUGHTER OF GOATS

The wild population of feral goats on the burren in Co. Clare is under pressure from bounty hunters and farmers. Over 4,000 feral goats on the burren are under immediate threat from a supposedly cull that will eliminate most if not all of these magnificent creatures. ARAN joins the call along with other groups in calling for the goats to be relocated to other islands where goat populations are in decline and is calling on the department of agriculture to step in and help. If this slaughter continues the wild feral goat population on the burren may become extinct. © 2004 ARAN
