PLEASE HELP US TO STOP THE THOUSENDFOLD KILLING OF CROWS !

Approved by the gouvernment of "Niedersachsen" (Germany) and in cooperation with the veterinary faculty of the University from Hannover (Institute of Wildbiology of animals) thousands of crows were being caught und killed with brutal and painful methods. Up to
february 2005 more then 5700 birds. And all this under the pretext of science.

SOME BACKGROUND INFORMATIONS:

Trappers and farmers focused mostly on a major part by the crows with regard to predation of endangered meadows-breeding birds (like as peewits) This position is very blassed. The results of many convinced studies (published by serious scientists) showed: Less than one percent of the booty of crows are eggs or chickens of meadows-breeding birds. It`s a KILLING without reason. What`s the sense of doing this?

However, Prof. Pohlmeyer (Institute of Wildbiology of the University Hannover) and the Gouvernment of Niedersachsen are insusceptible to facts.

In your own countrys parrots (amazons, cacatoos and others) often are caught, trapped and killed. For what reason? Your parrots are our crows. PLEASE HELP US TO SAVE THE CROWS IN GERMANY.
